Georg Maeder

Georg Maeder was a German tenor who created Scaramuccio in the premiere of Strauss's Ariadne auf Naxos at the Stuttgart Hoftheater in 1912, and went on to create roles in two more Stuttgart premieres there: Arrigo Oldofredi in Max von Schillings's Mona Lisa in 1915, and Frieder in Siegfried Wagner's An allem ist Hütchen schuld! in 1917.
