Leonhard von Szpinger
Leonhard von Szpinger sang with the Grand Ducal Court Theatre in Weimar, creating one of the four Minnesingers in the premiere of Strauss's Guntram in 1894. He remained one of the company's principal men for at least twenty-five years, still listed among its opera singers in 1919.
