Giovanni Volpini

bass

A bass of the Teatro Grande in Trieste, who created Giovanni in Il corsaro there in October 1848. Between 1846 and 1850 he took small parts at Trieste, among them Kabul in the premiere of Manna's Il profeta velato in 1846, Acciano in I Lombardi and the Doctor in Macbeth, and sang Moser in I masnadieri at Fiume in 1848.
